Outside Lands Recap- Part Two

“The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco” – Mark Twain.

Mark Twain ain’t kidding. Day two of Outside Lands only saw the temperature get into the 60’s but for a fall lover for me that was more than okay. I spent most of my day sipping local wine at  Wine Lands, going to Beer Camp and taking a break from technology in Digital Detox. When I wasn’t busy taking in the sights I was taking in the sounds. I got to see sets from The Kooks, Local Natives, Tycho, Death Cab for Cutie and of course, Tom Petty. All in all it was a successful day two.

Outside Lands 2014 Recap- Part 1

Whew! Time flies when you’re having fun. I spent this past week touring the west coast starting with memorable sets from the likes of Tom Petty, Jenny Lewis, Death Cab for Cutie, and Warpaint at Outside Lands in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.  Once inside, you feel engulfed in a Wes Anderson-esque world and that’s more than alright by me. San Francisco’s mild climate and great sense of community made for three days of vibey greatness.
